If you read my about me, you know that I spent three years running strip clubs.
What I didn’t mention is that two of them were essentially in-call escort services. If you are reading my series on strip club management My Journey As A Stripper Sitter you’ll probably figure that out.
In those three years, I had a lot of casual sex – more than I can even remember – but I also had a few meaningful relationships. I didn’t just date strippers, I dated a couple of escorts too. And most recently had a relationship (unofficially on my part though she didn’t seem to share my outlook) with a “porn star.” I use quotation marks because you wouldn’t know who she was, she was more an adult model than a star.
I get asked a lot, even to this day about my dealings with strippers and I am always happy to share my experiences. In my opinion, they are what you make them. The experiences that is, not the girls. You really don’t have much of a choice regarding that, but after reading this post – hopefully you’ll know what to look out for.
First, there are (in my opinion) six very different categories of women in the adult industry.
1. Strippers – These are the girls in the strip club world that put on a full time show in the industry and in their own lives. They can’t turn off the act, essentially creating themselves a new identity and losing focus of who they really are. They dance full time. Usually don’t have cars, stable places to live, direction in life or any sort of meaning. Truly the lowest entity in the adult world, lower even than escorts because at least the escorts are being honest with everyone about what they do.
2. Dancers – These girls probably have another job, go to school, or at least don’t view stripping as something they can’t get out of. A lot of them are either young single girls looking to make extra money part time, or mothers working on weekends to help supplement income for their families. The good ones are never single, and even the bad ones are not all that bad.
3. Entertainers – These girls are career dancers, more than part time and usually full time in the clubs but with a massive difference. Aside from general appearance you would never completely know that these girls are strippers outside of work. They usually don’t have any other jobs, and aren’t going to school but know they can turn it off when they need to and go find work elsewhere. They make good money, usually are pretty stable but like the job for various reasons. They don’t cause problems at work, they just go to have fun and make money. At home they’re normal people.
4. Escorts – as much as I feel I overuse the phrase, “It is what it is.” They’re hookers, but they don’t walk the streets. Some of them have pimps, some don’t. It’s hit or miss in that respect. They will fuck you for money, and they don’t hide the fact that when they are working, they are selling their bodies. Some of them are really trashy bitches, others are nice girls that just use their ability to detach emotion from sex to make a few (or several thousand) bucks. I still rank them above strippers.
5. Porn Stars – everyone has their favorite. I won’t get into who mine is because you guys would think I’m fucking crazy, but these girls are career actresses who go the extra mile to make a scene happen. They too detach emotion from sex, but unlike a prostitute, they are safe, open, and usually proud of what they do. It doesn’t last forever, but it’s fun while it does right?
6. Adult models – the not-so-much-recognized women in the adult industry. They’re still taking their clothes off, but are usually on the more softcore side of things. Not taking 4 big black cocks at once. These girls range from casual part-time models for hire to full on solo site models. Difference between them and Porn Stars is that if they up and disappear from the internet, not too many people are going to be sitting there scratching their heads wondering where they went.
Now that you know the differences, here’s what you need to know about dating them.
1. Strippers – Good luck. I hope you have patience, an open schedule, a car and a lot of extra cash. In my experience there are those that will directly ask you for money, and the rest of them will just hang out with you to get shit. Do you get sex out of it? Sure you do, unless you’re that much of a putz. Will they even call you their boyfriend? Yup. But don’t think for a second that when the next guy comes around you won’t be sitting with your bank statements wondering how you possibly spent so much money on a relationship. Enjoy it while it lasts, there’s no way any sane human being can have a long term relationship with one of these people. I’m pretty crazy (or was in my earlier years) and even I had a hard time keeping up. If you’re a push-over, forget about it. You might as well hand over all your credit cards and your pin numbers and lop off your dick, you won’t be using it.
I dated a couple girls that I thought were nice girls with a wild side. Boy was I fucking wrong. When a girl at a club goes home with you the first night you meet her, after heavily drinking for hours – DO NOT DATE THE BITCH. No matter how much she tries to pass it off as something she never does, or it was just in the moment, or you were her perfect guy… She’s a whore. Fuck her until you get the clap, take a z-pack and change your number.
I even had a girl like this live with me for 9 months. We had crazy threesomes, fucked so much the neighbors new all of our dirty little secrets, and had a fucking blast until it got to the point where I wanted to shoot her in the fucking face. That ended very, very badly and it still haunts me to this day. I lost a lot of money to that girl, but it was such a wild ride I’d do it all over again without a second thought. I guess I’m still young enough to do stupid shit.
